Our Entrepreneurial Journey
Annabel St. John, Founder & Creative Director
Annabel St. John has always believed that creativity and business belong together. After studying fashion in Paris and California, the Vancouver entrepreneur went on to build the stationery brand PaperQueen and then QUEEN & GRACE, combining an instinct for design with an equally strong instinct for turning ideas into businesses.
Over the years, QUEEN & GRACE has evolved along with her. What began with fashion has grown into a lifestyle brand centered around living beautifully, confidently and intentionally. Annabel believes in quality over quantity, confidence over convention and surrounding yourself with people and things that add beauty, meaning or purpose to your life.
Named West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year, Annabel has never been particularly interested in doing just one thing. Alongside her creative businesses, she has invested in real estate and continued to pursue new ideas, always with the same philosophy: if something can be done better, make it better.
That thinking led to her newest venture, The PALOMA Method, a life management system designed to help women (men and families) organize the important details of their lives and know what they have, where it is, how to run it and what the people they love need to know.
The idea came from personal experience. After navigating the unexpected death of a family member and discovering firsthand how complicated life can become when important information, documents and instructions aren't organized, Annabel realized there had to be a better way.
So she created one.
Today, her work sits at the intersection of style, organization and thoughtful living, with a simple belief at the heart of it all:
Beautiful things for a life well lived.
